As per the Exim Policy declared by the Government of India, Ministry of Commerce and Industry all export promotion Council has been authorized to issue Registration Cum Membership Certificate (RCMC) for the products coming under preview of their Council. |

As per Para 2.4 of the policy, any person applying for licence / certificate / permission to import or export,(except restricted items as per the policy) or any other benefit or concession under the export and import policy shall be required to furnish Registration cum membership certificate granted by the competent authority unless specifically exempted under the policy. |

As per Chapter 3 of the Handbook of Procedures 2002-07 all exporters of the products coming under purview of this council have to be got register themselves. For becoming members of the EPC they have to submit application as per appendix 4 of the Handbook of procedures 2002-07 mentioning his main line of the Business.After granting membership of the Council the applicant shall be granted Registration-cum-membership certificate (RCMC). |
